probs with dvdrw 1008 writing to cds - Club CDFreaks

op sys win xp pro sp1 have just reinstalled due to sys fell over only prob now got is that my dvdrw 1008 wont write to csd media at all now dvd work fine just cds seem to be prob any ideas it is set as master on my secondary ide channel i have a slave hd on secondary channel as well but all worked fine before please help its doing my head in

I found some hacked firmwares , perhaps that'll make the media incompatibility dissapear (at least it did so on my Philips DVDRW416K).

maybe a driver problem, i had a similar problem with winoncd6, now after the update to the newest roxio drivers it works perfect.
