| Problem with BTC 1008 FW 0458 and Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R Hi, with the new Firmware 0458 I got problems burning Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R's with my BTC 1008. Most of the CD's were unreadable after burning, and the one I got successfully burned had a very uncontinuous surface. So I went back to Firmware 0657 and the results are now ok. Has anybody else the same experiences with the 0x58 Firmware? Best regards, Shotokan66 |

| Re: Problem with BTC 1008 FW 0458 and Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R  Hello! I upgraded to 0458 and had problems with all newly burned movie DVDs. The DVDs were no longer working in my standalone player. It seems, that BitSet wasn't working correct anymore. I went back to 0358 and all is working fine again. So for me it seems that there is a bug in 0458. Tom |

| Re: Problem with BTC 1008 FW 0458 and Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R I used Bitset1.05 to setBooktype as DVD-ROM of my DVD-R TGY01, and burn Nero image (V6302) with 1008 DVD writer with F/W 0458, it succese burned the movie and set the booktype as DVD-ROM.  |
