| Is my EEprom gone for good.... hi, my drive is dead and now i cannot update it nor flash it in dos. i tried several commands and bin files and marcos method of replacing the drive but nothing seems to work. The update is just stuck at 00% and keep going finally saying failed to write flash. Between when i take out the IDE cable while flashing the stuck 00 % moves to the next 00% otherwise it is stuck at the first 00%. Moreover while flashing i hear some sound like zzz but no updating more than 00 % . Do you think that the EEprom is dead and the drive is gone for good. Nay help regarding it would be usefull.
