Memorex won't write completely - Club CDFreaks

I bought the Memorex 8X Printable DVD+R and they work really well on the front end but about 1 hour into them they become unplayable. Has anybody used these or had this happen? Is there a fix? Should I just toss them and use different Media? Thanks for any help or opinions

Try Made in Japan media and redure your burn speed. 4X.

I just got a 50 pack of 8x DVD-R from Best Buy and have the exact same problem.

How do I find the general info on my drive? I'm still new at this.

Prodisc media are known as crappy media, it may help when you burn them at lower speed. when you say that the problem occures at about one hour of playing then it would suggest you try it with 4x.

it would be nice if you can make a disc quality test by using Nero CD/DVD speed
post the result here.
