is this a good K´probe Scan for a videodvd (Standaloneplayer)??
I have sometimes problems with freezing picture an coasters:

Yes, that one is quite good.

But remember: scans done on a BTC drive can't be compared to scans done by other drives and it can't be compared to the current error standards as the BTC drives is incorrectly reporting the amount of errors.

hey.
i went ahead and got kprobe just to see how my burner is doing, and it says i cant use it cause i dont have a lite-on drive.

so what's the secret?
i tried it on my 1008 and on my NEC dv5800 -ROM drive

It should somewhat work with BTC drives - should at least not give a error message.

Try reading the guides in the DVD-media test forum.
