Emprex (BTC) DVDRW IDE1008 - Club CDFreaks

Hi
I have recently purchased an Emprex DVD 8xRW from PC World.
Having searched the net looking for updates, I have discovered that Emprex is actually a re-badge BTC DVD.
I’ve been searching for instructions on how to remove the region 2.
Most searches sent me to a really annoying search engine full of adverts!
Please can someone explain how I check my current firmware and how to upgrade it to remove region 2.

I have the same drive, but uh, how do I know which RPC1 to use?

Usually it is best to use the latest, in this case 0060

Be warned flashing with a modified firmware will invalidate your warranty.
