| Easy to solve 2 Thanks 4 your help. Hardware cheking done. Even new IDE cable. Jumper on Master. BIOS configuration right. Shell Hardware Detection enabled. WinXP successfully detects the drive (always did). Device Manager devices all ok. Drivers ok. Now comes the funny bit. Burning softwares not always detects the drive EVEN WHEN WINDOWS DOES!!. |
