| DVDs won't play in my new drive Hi All, I'm hoping you can help me with this problem. I have the (micro advantage) DRW 1004IM DVD+/_RW drive on a P4 2.4GHz XP machine. The drive will read and write to CDs and DVDs fine but when I insert a DVD movie the disk just spins and bogs down my computer until I eject the disk. I tried the disk on other drives and it works great so I'm confused. I have already tried the firmware upgrade (43 & 47) but nothing changed. Once I left the disk in for about 20 minutes and was able to get disk info then but the disk was listed as a blank CD!?! A friend tried the disk in his drive (we bought the same ones at the same time) and the disk works fine on his ME machine. Please help. Thanks Mr_Milo |
