BTC DVDRW IDE1004 0250 & Khypermedia/TDK DVD-R Hello, I have the BTC DVDRW IDE1004 0250 and I want to use my Khypermedia DVD-R discs identified by DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 as TDKG02000000, the MID code is as follows: 00 6A 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 98 0C 13 .j...@....P..... 76 78 80 00 03 54 44 4B 47 30 32 00 04 30 30 30 vx...TDKG02..000 30 30 30 00 05 88 80 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 000............. I do not recall seeing these included in the list of BTC firmware updates. The few of these I have used have not worked well with PS2 games. It has been since maybe F/W v0043 since I tried using the KHypermedia DVD-Rs. Thanks, ski

Re: BTC DVDRW IDE1004 0250 & Khypermedia/TDK DVD-R I have used Princo and Memorex (Richo) discs with no problem on my 1004 fw 350. Princo isn't bad but then again lots of brands aren't bad unless it is a bad batch from that brand.

Re: BTC DVDRW IDE1004 0250 & Khypermedia/TDK DVD-R ron71157, Thanks for the reply. When I made this post this MID code was not in the revision list OR I somehow missed it. My code is TDKG02000000 [DVD-R] and it is listed for 1004 v47 so it has been there for some time. I had 20 of these Khypermedia/TDKG02 DVD-R discs and every one I used for making a PS2 game [about 4 or 5] all failed. Not the case for DVD movies though, all play, in my Toshiba and my PS2. With exception of like 1 disc, all discs I have burned in my BTC 1004 v0043 - v0350 [even my Starlogic/Princo 1x DVD-Rs] have burned without error, a handful have failed VERIFY though. I have 50 of those Princos left so I will use them for my PS2 games [even though they are not always successful either, about 3 of 4 work with some being a little glitchy]. Thanks, ski
