| BTC 1004IM Disk Reading problem Just thought i mention this, sorry if its allready been said. I installed a BTC 1004 DVD-RW for a customer and was told the drive would not read DVD's. Upon check i also discovered that it would also not read cd's. Thinking the drive was faulty i returned it and a replacement was installed to only find the same problem occuring. As a last minute thought i changed the standard 40 wire ide cable to a 80 wire one and that solved the problem it had no problems reading discs after that.
