Were would we go to get Kazaa Lite Now?

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering is there any new sites that have popped up that will continue to host updated versions of kazaa lite or is kazaa lite pretty much dead?

Due to the actions of the Sherman corporation , it will probably be taken to the warez scene websites ; Something cdfreaks doesn't want to get involved in.

I found the kazaa lite installer file version 2.4.3 k++ edition but you can not access supernodes anymore therefore you can connect to about 3000 people but here are the direct doenload links in two formats:

magnet link:
magnet:?xt=urn:bitprint:6UVAKRFGEV6M2XES4OBAW3KOFQCHHEZF.R6EBTJUHYI652DM4Y4LSKYJWRVO7YIWCX XKK45Y&dn=kazaa_lite_kpp_243_english.exe

ed2k link:
ed2k://|file|Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3.exe|3376999|a518d91a9f8d9c3b7981c8a2be5093a9|/

you can paste these into clients that take that type of link and hopefully they work.

The word is that Kazaa Lite's development is being continued, i did see a release candidate (RC6 i think) somewhere online that is fully functional (current version of KMD without the spyware but no KL Tools though). Some searching will help

Incidentally, here's a link on how to disable Cydoor all by yourself, whilst still allowing kazaa to work:

i think it is also possible to remove Cydoor by using remove-spyware softwares such as Ad-ware etc . is this correct?

if you get rid of kazaa's spyware then the software dosent work. I tried. You have to get a spyware removed version (KLite #Kchat edition) thats the new kazaa lite version btw.

If you get rid of kazaa's spyware it dosent work, cant get rid of bonzi buddy, cydoor, brilliant digital etc.

What is the file name exactly?

I went to the site http://www.filemirrors.com/search.src to try to find the latest version of Kazaa Lite but I'm not sure which file is the correct one to download. What is the exact file name of the latest version?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Is version 2.6 the same version as the "KaZaA Lite K++ edition" which Kevin Rose has written about/discussed on Tech Tv (www.techtv.com ) ?

I watched the video clips of Kevin Rose discussing the features of the K++ edition and he mentioned that it was a different version than the one he'd discussed last. I gathered from that that two different versions had been released rather recently.

Thanks for all the help, guys!
