| Unknown format files Hi this is my first posting. I've downloaded a movie but it's split in two cd folders, each file has a number of files with files extensions .r00, .r01, .r02... and so on. Culd anyone explain what this is and how to convert it to a readable format please. |

| Re: Unknown format files Generally files with extensions ending in .r00, .r01, etc. are a set of RAR archives, which require WinRAR or a RAR compatible compression tool to open. If you have WinRAR installed, try opening the .rar file (or .r00 file if no file ends in '.rar'). If you do not have WinRAR, you can try opening it with the freeware alternative 7-zip, which also handles can open several other archive formats. Once installed, right-click on the '.rar' (or '.r00' file), go into the '7-zip' sub-menu and click 'Open Archive'. |
