Tunebite users - got a question

i recently started having a problem with tunebite. i'm trying to change the file format that it records to, but every time i press on the 'file format' tab it gives me an error and closes the program. something about logitech/setpoint error, but i don't have any logitech hardware/software on my PC. any ideas or other people with this problem?

also, it will seem like it works correctly without changing the file format, but when i try to play the file it is just silence. help please!

It's been so long since I've actually used Tunebite I can't comment on your particular error. Are you using the latest and greatest version of Tunebite?

Re: Tunebite users - got a question

Hi there,

Your problem is so weird.... . First, which file format are you referring to? audio or video?
Have you tried to reinstall Tunebite 3.x after the switch to Tunebite 2.x?

Related to the "no sound" result, it might be because of the the virtual high-speed digital dubbing driver, which might have remained set as the default device in Windows Media Player. You have to check this in: Windows Media Player => Tools => Options => Devices => Speakers => Properties => Audio device to use. You will need to roll back to the regular soundcard of your system.
What else you could try is: perform analog recordings (disable the virtual driver), see if the problem still comes up..
