| Tool for auto-download of journals? Hello, Is it possible to automatically download scientific journal articles from publishers like Elsevier, Blackwell, etc. assuming one has a subscription to do so? Does this also work for free publications like Arxiv? I'm looking for something that would allow offline browsing of all journal articles from e.g. year 1990 - 2008. Thanks. |

| Re: Tool for auto-download of journals? Thanks for the info, Mr. Belvedere. Long time no see...where's your Penguin and Mohawk avatars? ![]() The journals do have RSS feeds, but AIUI RSS feeds just let you know what's new and won't allow offline browsing of their content. ATM I have to log in and manually download the pdfs I want to save which can be quite tedious as all paid for journals auto-log you off if you close your browser window or are idle for too long. |
