| Risks... I have heard of people being caught for piracy and the such before. I am well aware of that. But what about using a neighbor's open wifi to download using uTorrent. If the neighbors actually got into some legal issues with the RIAA/MPAA/whatever, what are the chances they can trace it back to my PC? My brother has a PC running almost 24/7 to download and I do it whenever possible. Note: This isn't wardriving. It's using desktops with antennas and such to connect to their house. They are actually quite far away, through a few yards and across the street. |

| Re: Risks... Oh I see. Not only are you downloading something that would get you into trouble with the RIAA if detected (i.e. almost certainly illegal) but you're stealing your neighbours bandwidth to boot. ![]() Sorry, no help for you with that request on this forum.
