| RIAA Holiday Advertising? You can read the article here. The short blurb doesn't specify the distribution of said 'advertising,' but one is forced to conclude the RIAA is truly 'out to lunch" when its reasons for how to spot pirated music is by if it's some compilation or if it sounds 'atrocious.' Simply put, if piracy only produced lousy copies, then there'd be no demand for it whatsoever. The RIAA conveniently forgets the one actual piracy bust it made in NY where it found (a what?) a very HIGH QUALITY reproduction operation, involving at least 1 dozen burner towers, cranking out (IIRC) in the neighborhood of 500-600 copies/hour. The dopes running the RIAA suffer from non-existent reasoning skills. They could only be from the "Twilight Zone" to believe such pathetically weak arguments actually pass muster and convince people that pirated productions are patently pathetic. ![]() ![]()
