Non-java based alternatives?

Well it seems that limewire, frostwire or lemonwire don't open on my pc and I installed and uninstalled java many many times. Are there any good non-java dependent p2p programs?

(And yes I know about bittorrent, I use that but if I just want to download one song it makes no sense for me to go look for the entire album and most music videos I want aren't on bittorrent so...)

ok well it works this time around when I installed it. Before it never used to work. But as to why I wanted a non-java based one was because everytime I tried to open Frostwire it never opened.(i.e. it appeared in the processes tab in task manager but then disappears a few seconds after). Java once caused my computer to constantly restart so I had to format my pc...so when things like that happen, I tend to get scared.

I got no experience with the tools you mentioned what I meant is what's the problem with soulseek? Is it technical (slow speed, configuration problem, etc...) or you don't find the stuff you're looking for?

Well it works now...so I am ok with songs for now. But before today it never used to find anything I searched for.
