Leagal Action against RIAA

Maybe it is time the consumer takes the upper hand in this P2P debate. I feel we the public should start a class action suit against the RIAA for fraud. They charge us an outlandish fee for every CD we buy and then only give you two or maybe three songs that are worth anything. Do you realize that comes to $6-$10 for each song, depending how many are worthwhile. They do not put any disclaimer on the cds stating only 1 or 2 songs may be liked by the public. If we charged the RIAA $1 per song that is not liked by the buyer maybe they would change their tune.

Don't think that the RIAA is at fault for this....the amount they get of every CD sold is very limited... It is the record companies that get the big bucks...

Gray Ghost- you may get a kick out of this story from the Oakland Tribune. It seems the RIAA is being countersued by Sharman Networks Kazaa.

In retaliation from being sued themselves for enabling people to swap copyrighted materials, the Kazaa bunch is throwing the sand back in the RIAAs face. It seems they were using Kazaa lite to threaten everybody and trash the network with fake files.

This is a violation of network terms of use and also using Kazaa lite is a violation as well. Because it is an unauthorised version of Sharmans copyrighted Kazaa. *chortle*
