| eMule Mods Needed Hi, I'm currently using eMule 0.46c, I used to get 1:1.5-1.7 UL:DL ratios, but for some reason my ratio dropped to 0.7:1 UL:DL recently, is there any good leecher mod that I can use, if you can't post the site, please PM me. |

| Re: eMule Mods Needed Leecher mods is kind of a contentious issue here as basically all p2p programs rely on sharing.... You might cop a bit of flack for this thread, I personally don't agree with any mods to change your ratio.

| Re: eMule Mods Needed Have you tried one of the official mods on eMules' own forum. Saying that, your ratio isn't that bad, you are downloading roughly a third more than you are uploading on the 0.7:1. As Jonny said the networks rely on sharing to survive. What are your settings? |

| Re: eMule Mods Needed No, right now I'm sharing more than I'm dling. I used to get 1:1.5, but now I only get 0.7:1. So I need to do something about it. And about that Usenet comment, I download over 30GBs a month, If I use Usenet that would cost another $20-30 per month, I'm not ready to do that yet. So if anyone knows a good leecher mod or a forum that talks about it, please PM me. Thanks. |

| Re: eMule Mods Needed If you want to use a leecher mod then do the network a favour and sod off. I don't care if I offend you but it is that type of attitude that screws up file sharing network. Notice the key word is sharing if you want trading go to BT and close the door on your way out. |

| Re: eMule Mods Needed The fact of it is that ppl using mods are making the ratio worse for the rest of us. The available upload bandwidth for a file has to be sharing around all peers and if you take more bandwidth it will mean less for the rest.
