What is DaemonScript!!!

DaemonScript is an addon for DAEMON Tools and Alcohol 120%/52%. DaemonScript allows the user to create a shortcut that will, when activated, automatically mount a specified image and run a specified application. You can also configure DaemonScript to enable a specific protection emulation, such as Safedisc. Delay times and the virtual cdrom can also be configured.

DaemonScript has an easy-to-use, unique interface. It fully supports the new XP Visual Styles. DaemonScript also implements tooltips, which display information on what a specific feature does. DaemonScript also implements Windows 2000/ME/XP shortcut comments, which display a custom tooltip when the mouse moves over the shortcut. It also includes full drag-and-drop support.

Basically, it is a tool that allows you to create scripts. Here are the script actions/commands you have:
- Mount: mounts an image to a device
- UnMount: unmounts an image from a device
- DeviceCount: Sets number of devices/cdroms
- Emulations: Enable/disable safedisc, securom, laerlock, rmps, hide atip.
- RunApp: executes an app (you can also specify paramaters)
- Delay: Pauses the script for a time period
- Waitforapp: Either wait for an application to start, or wait for one to exit before executing next item.

It's great if you have an image of a game and want to easily mount it. You just add a mount action, maybe emulations action, and runapp. Then you make a shortcut and replace the old game shortcut.

Right now it supports Daemon tools and Alcohol.
