| Working copy of, SimCity Rush Hour, Empire, Harry Potter - Quidditch Hi, here a short update. I made a working backup copy of: SimCity 4 - Rush Hour AddOn (SaveDisk 2.9x) Empire - Die Neuzeit (SaveDisk 3.0) Harry Potter - Quiddich (SaveDisk 2.9x) Used software Alcohol 120% (1.4.7.1005) Burner: Plextor 708A (1.03) ALL THE BACKUP IMAGES ARE RUNNING WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE INSTALLED LIKE CLONE CD, ALCOHOL etc. ON MY GAMING PC. THEY ARE RUNNING PERFECT FROM MY CD-ROM. I ALSO DO NOT INSTALLED ANY VIRTUAL DRIVE ON MY GAMING PC ! THE BACKUPS ONLY RUN IN A PLEXTOR ULTRAPLEX 40MAX SCSI or THE PLEXTOR IDE CD-ROM DRIVE. When I inseret the backup into a Liton 166, or Toshi 1401/2 SCSI or 1502 IDE the game crashed. I have no idear why they only run with a Plextor CD-ROM without any problems. | I have tested them now also with a Liton 166s and they are all working great with this drive. (latest firmeware) Purecut BTW. I think that Alc can handle better a Plextor 708A than CloneCD. It seems that Alc used the VarRec method of the 708A  |
