No need to use blindwrite's bwa builder or to save in CloneCD format before patching. I don't currently have either blindwrite (or bwa builder) or CloneCD on my home system but had no difficulty in making a working back-up of a securom 5.x protected game about a week ago using nothing more than alcohol and a-ray's twincreator. I'll write a short tutorial for the method if I have time over the Christmas break downunder.

| Re: What copy protection scanner do you mainly use? I just discovered today that Aray Scanner is probably better at scanning the whole CD then ProID, but ProID wins over exe scanning.

| Re: What copy protection scanner do you mainly use? compaired to: ![]() It should really say "modded by A-Ray team" as it is a mod, not a new program. why do a few parts of the program still say "TwinPeak"? There is no mention of blackcheck in the about ![]() In the PROTECTiON iD about it also mentions R!Co, so I dont think there are any problems between CDKiLLER and R!Co, ![]() So the log window is probably ok, however I am not sure about TwinPeak/TwinCreator. Ben ![]() ps. Very sorry if I am wrong and blackcheck gave his permission, or things are ok, I am just going on what I can see ![]()

I guess you didn't use the advanced search so here's just a few links to get you started, you'll even find the code posted, all you have to do is search, it's not that hard, and this has gone way off topic: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=57105 http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....7&page=2&pp=25 http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=57221 http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....5&page=1&pp=25 |
