i just bought a copy of unreal tournament 2004 and installed it.Strangely enough, immediately after it was installed,the play option appeared and the copy worked fine with the game loading and performing beautifully.However,the next time i inserted the disc and allowed the autorun to take off i received the error:"the disc could not be authorized in the time limit"(more or less..lol) and when i clicked the retry button another prompt appeared stating:"please insert the original disc instead of a backup.for more information visit www.securom.com/copy"
I have two different copies and none of them works.Can somebody please help me out????????????

Have you installed the latest Patch? Once you do you don't require the start up CD anymore. I know it has nothing to with copy protection but if it worked once the patch should work for the PC based game anyways.
