try using these settings in Alcohol 120% (use latest version)
download a program called alcoholer 4.1 (use google to find it)
open up alcoholer
select settings on the right hand side
SKIP READING ERRORS
FAST SKIP ERROR BLCOKS
READ SUBCHANNEL DATA
READ PREGAB AREA
click open alcohol on the left hand side
click on create image file or cd copy wizard
read speed 1x write speed 4x

tried and tested on SafeDisc 4.00.000 & 4.00.001

select hide media type in options and unselect all emulation in options aswell


to copy safedisc protected dvd 4.00.003 & 4.50.000 use blindwrite and select the automantic profile

have made mini images of some SD4 protected games mounted them in daemon tools and they played fine

I backed Up Sid Meier's Civilization 4 which is protected by safedisc 4.60 with atip detection. I was Able to back up game and play on the these drives

Only Problem I Have It doesn't run If ignore Media In Alchol Is not check

just tried to make a copy of NHL Eeastside Hockey Manager 2007 but it didn´t go so well. The copy was completed perfect but when I try to play it either give me a "put in the original cd" or the ehm2007.exe crashes.

I tried with a 1/1-copy and also an Iso mounted in DT. Also tried a lot of hider-programs like YASU, ProStop, Sd4Hide. All the latest versions.

Ideas?

sorry for a new reply but I didn´t find any edit button. Got it to work at last. Successfully made a clone in the lastest clonecd. Mounted it in lastest DT and then used the lastest YASU. Worked perfect now.

Well first i made an image using the clone cd protected PC game profile
then i burnt the image using the same profile
Well then I found the game wouldn't start so I tried clone cd tray.exe
Hide cdr media option and the game started.....
Well I don't like having to use software to play my backups so I used a Sharpie magic marker and put two small dots in the second silver ring of the cd
Ie. the one towards the outside of the disk (track 0 where ATIP data is located) just past the silver ring that has the CD-R Info Printed very small (CD-R 80 CWLH......)
and it works perfectly....
maybe i'm just good and picked the perfect spot or maybe it will work for everyone so plz try it and let me know.
