ros without cdr media enabled

hi,
i wanted to know if there was a way of making a backup of copy of rise of nations ( sd 2.70.030) in such a way that we don't have to enable hide cdr media or anything like that .
i m talking of a complete standalone copy.
thanx in advance

Hide CD-R Media is required for

Emulated copies (EWS) and
copies played from burners (completely unavoidable).
• If the copy is good, play it in a CD/DVD-ROM
 • If you need emu, consider an ASUS or LITEON burner.

thanx future
i have a ltr - 52327s a sheep burner and i was able to make a copy of ron and play it on my cd-rom without hide cdr media option.
and with the option enabled on my burner.
out of curiosity i have seen posts where sd 3 protected has been successfully copied, does this mean that those games too need ignore media type or hide cd-r media.

When playing from a burner, the ATIP on the CD-R/W must always be hidden for SecuROM *new* and later, as well as SafeDisc 2.4x and later. I urge you te read through the posts in the Guides and Tutorials section.

The Hide ATIP functions have evolved from mere ATIP hiding tools to something far more clever.

if you have a cdreader to play the title not a cdwriter then you can play the title without hide atip if the copy is good enough. cdreaders do not read the atip.
