Copy Protection Discuss, r1 .img file to r2 .img file at International Chat: Software related forum; hello is there a way of making a r1 .img file into a r2 .img file im in the uk so i cant view r1 dvd unless i get it unblocked. can anyone help?

hello

is there a way of making a r1 .img file into a r2 .img file

im in the uk so i cant view r1 dvd unless i get it unblocked.

also if i burn r1 dvds will it reduce the amount of times i can change the region on my dvd settings?


if so is there a prog that will crack the amount of times to unlimited

my dvd burner is a Samsung sh-w162

If you rip the original with, for example, DVDFab, the region code can be removed (default setting). Where the region code is removed, you should not have to change region codes on your pc, so it shouldn't affect the number of times you can do so....

thanks for the help ppl. im using dvd regiong free + css - is that any good - does it work with magic iso

i will try all the things youve said

if it is a r1 .img file will it change my dvd burner automatically - therefore loosing one of my pre set changes on the actual burner

it will not change your region code automatically.If you haven't set region code yet it will set the code but if you have set region code it won't change it.

how do i do this through dvdfab

am i able to extract the video and audio folders from the img file and do it that way instead of burning a dvd and then doing it and then burning another 1
