Pioneer DVR-108 can defeat safedisk 3.2 ??

First hi all, this is my first post I'm going to by my first DVD Recorder and its hard to make a good decision. I want one that can write quality DVDs but also can hold latest CD-Rom copy protections to make backups of my games. I was thinking on a Pioneer DVR-108 ... anyone knows if this one can defeat Safedisk 3.2 ? someone tried to backup Doom3 with it ? I rearched in forums and i did not find the answer to this question.

Thanks for all

If you want to backup SD 3 games, the best advice would be to purchase a good reader. I bought a Lite-On DVD 166S as I heard it was the best all-around drive for creating images. I then burned the image file using my LG GSA-4120B. Though I've read that my burner is not terribly good for copy protection (the reading part at least), the disc I created played perfectly in both my drives without the use of emulation.

So you might want to take this into consideration when you're looking to buy. If you're looking to build a small form factor machine, then your options will be limited. But if you can have at least two optical drives, go for that instead.
