hi there

there is a new game out there ...

SACRED (from great germany)

nice game with a nice protection...

got it yesterday ... and am now trying to break through its protection...

at the moment i am using alcohol 120 % ...
made a nice RMPS graph, which looks like starforce one ...
but up to now i am not sure about it ...

used clony and aray scanner to identify protection without luck....

another point i am wondering around:

while exploring the cd i found a file named "VOB-PCD.KEY"
in my eyes a part of the cp ...
anyone out there who knows what i deal with ...??

so one more time the community has to defeat a protection ..

i will go on trying .. c ya

something to add...

for sure i tried also to emulate the images ....

starting *.exe file .... small window protocols the scan for original disc.... after a time ...

seems to be uncopyable...

up to now i have tried the following constellations:

Alcohol 120 % (ver. 1.4.3)

first:
--read--
- subs on
- rmps data read (1x)
--write--
- raw
- use rmps

--> NO WAY !!!

second:

-- everything with VOB ProtectCD Alcohol 120% Profile--

--> NO WAY !!!

BlindWrite 4.5:
--read--
- subs on

--write--
- use bwa (converted *.mds file from first test)

--> NO WAY !!!

BlindWrite 5.0.2.113
--read&write--
- auto

--> NO WAY !!!

so what`s new ???.... is there any succes out there .. ???

hi [M@steRW!z@rD] ,

I got the same problem with castle strike which has ProtectCD V5.144. Tried it with alcohol 1.4.8 with the recommended profile and BW5 with automatic profile. Didn't use cloneCD and BW4xxx because I thought they got no chance. Finally nothing worked.
Perhaps new alcohol and BW5 version will solve this problem.

Do you have alcoholer installed ?

Clony doesnt always make the best profile for CCD.

Use the profiles we have in CCD forum and try with good media, not the cheap dye based junk.

Also, lower reading and burning speeds to 4x or 8x if possible.

Make sure if running from a burner drive that you have ATIP hiding in CCD Tray.
