Hello,
I use windows MCE to record from tv. It records in dvr (i think) format. Then I use nerovision express II (V6) to transcode and edit the file as needed so that I can burn it to DVD Movie so that I can watch it on a tv. Unfortuneately, HBO and Windows sees fit to put some stupid Copyright crap on the movie as it is being recorded.
Nero reads this and does NOT allow be to transcode the thing.
I have no wish to sell any of these movies or anything, I just want to be able to: 1 - watch them on my tv with out the damned hassel of sending my monitor screen to my TV every time, and 2 - get them off of my hard drive so that I can free up space for other movies.
Does anybody know of a way to crack this stupid c/r protection, or of a transcoding software, like nero, that doesn't look for the c/r protection and will allow me to transcode c/r material.
Doesn't seem right that people with machines that burn as they record can burn from TV but I can't.
Thanks
