You can backup your copy protected DVD by using a combination of AnyDVD & CloneDVD2.

I don't think that is what he meant...
As I understand it he wants to add a copy protection to his own DVDs...

I know there are some apps for this for CD, but I don't know if these work for DVD as well. Try a search in this forum for 'Freelock', you'll find several links for creating your own copy protected CDs, perhaps they work for DVDs too.

Mind you, there are only a few (professional/expensive) protections out there that cannot be bypassed....

Unfortunately could find cd - vcd but no dvd progam.

hi everyone may same ok you can help about protecting my home video edited i need only semple protection so that thy can not also copy my video edited can you give same website of tips that i can search for and thank's for help friend..

What about if you shrik a dvd from a DVD-9 to a DVD-5. Is it possible once you shrik the DVD into .VOB files to create your own disc(backup) and add Copy protection?

Well, looking back in this thread, I'd say they couldn't in 2005. Still couldn't in 2007. I believe that now (2008) you still can't...
