Use Alcohol 120% with Safedisc checked off during read/write and Safedisc 2/3 for setting...then as long as I have a regular dvd-rom drive I can just pop it in? Or do I still need to mount an image, etc?

Re: I want to make sure I have this right...

You need a 2 sheep burner, tell us what you have...?

Using a regular DVD-ROM will avoid having to hide ATIP through another software utility, and yes, in 98%/99% cases you can just pop it in. If you do this and have such an optical drive available to you there is no need to mount an image to run the game that way.

Re: I want to make sure I have this right...

I suggest you use SafeDisc 2/3 for both dumping and burning.

If your burner is not '2 sheep compatible', then you will have to use emulation .

Alcohol 52% or Daemon Tools is for you if this is the case.

Mounting images is advised if burning the image fails when it comes to playing.

The SafeDisc and SafeDisc 2/3 profiles in Alcohol are the same when it comes to reading.

Also, if your burner isn't 2 sheep, you can try enabling the Bypass EFM error option to see if it works.
