Copy Protection Discuss, How to make 1:1 copies using RipIt4Me at International Chat: Software related forum; I was wondering how one would make an exact 1:1 copy using ripit4me? Right now I go the ripit4me, dvd shrink , dvd decrypter route and can only record the movie itself. Before all the new copyright protections I would make exact copies using dvd decrypter.

Just select 'full disc' when backing up with RipIt4Me and it will backup the full disc - menus/movie/extras, only removing any copyright protections.

No need to use Shrink if you don't want to shrink it. However, you will probably need to burn to 2 discs or use a DL disc.

It should, or use Imgburn (free) an updated version of dvddecrypter without the ripper, made by the same guy. Dvddecrypter hasn't been updated in years, that was what ripit4me did, update the ripper. Alas, that's gone now too!
