| Re: Help with nero copyright If this is possible, it would most probably be illegal. You cant just copy protected DVD's anyway, the encryption needs to be removed.(it needs to be 'ripped') I'm also going to assume you meant backup your own DVD's as copying friends or rented movies is also illegal. You can download a freeware ripper called DVD Shrink. You can then use Nero to burn the movie after ripping with it. If you wished to pay you couldn't go past Any DVD combined with Clone DVD. |

| Re: Help with nero copyright Try DVD Decrypter, its free, and it descrambles (removes) the CSS protection. It rips it to your HDD. Then you can burn with Nero 6. @pollushon With all due respect, he is new here, don't be so awkward. I think he means remove the protection from a DVD, not Nero 6.

| Re: Help with nero copyright If you are talking about that annoying "CD/DVD is copyrighted" message when nero first starts burning, it says that about all cd/dvd's, even when they are your own compilation, even if the copyright flag hasn't been set. Ignore it. Ahead must consider the issue trivial & haven't removed it for the 7 years I've been using it ![]()
