I would like to pst this thread because i'v somehow got this program calle BEtablocker, it seems to be something like Twinpeak, put i havent seen any thread yet for it

I had a try lately, it seems to detect WEAK SECTORs!!! and repair them, and the burnt copy that I'v burnt seems to be working.

Im not sure , but it might be my luck, but i would like to see what others think....

AFAIK betablocker started with SD 2.51 (?) to patch ccd images, but the next versions of Clone CD did the trick very well.
I think betablocker don't work with the current versions of Safedisc.

Yea, it was also used for burners that couldn't handle safedisc (zero sheep) and it altered the image. Even after that, it had to be running in the background for any game to run. It is useless now because there are correct procedures on copying safedisc games.

It was also questionable how BetaBlocker worked in theory to altring the image. Some argue its similar to Twinpeaks but some say it altered more than it should have. This puts it into a yellow zone area between green and red, and its labeled as warez by some, while others say its legal.

Why don't you tell us what you are trying to copy that has safedisc, and i'm sure you can get better advice to make a workable copy.

thanks for the info on betablocker....so it seems that betablocker is pretty useless for the New versions of Safedics ...

But luckily, my burner is currently pretty new, so i dont think i'll be using Betablocker

I was trying to copy my copy of C&C Generals Exp Zero Hour .....n I just though of trying out BEtablocker, and I think luckily i didnt ruin the image in the process

You've trial versions of Alcohol /Blindwrite/Clonecd/
Gamejack and others not mentioned , why don't you give them
all a go and decide for yourself what meet your needs.
