Is there a way to split the movie between two DVD? I am new to all of this

Yes, it is possible.
Various programs allow this, for example DVD Fab

thank you for your reply. I bought a dvd burner, called a Lifes good from Sams club. I am trying to back up a dvd and when I tried to, it said there wasnt enough space on disk to hold all the of dvd. Thats what Im trying to do.
