I couldn't backup it using a bit-to-bit medical copier (standalone thingy). It just gives "error".

CloneCD seems to make images of it though ; only the first disc has some disc errors.

this is new protect that microsoft is using..its very easily defeated..see copy protection list for details..

I just used cdmate and a easy copy using raw96 mode and had no difficulty running this title.

JFYI, the protection is called Smarte. I believe it's similar to safedisc lite (which is similar to safedisc 1).

actually i think it isnt protected at all

no it has bad sectors thats a form of protetection if you dont beleive me then try to do a non raw copy and see if it works
