Copy Protection Discuss, copy protected CD *30 seconds to mars* at International Chat: Software related forum; i am trying to rip the cd i own ive tried the shift thing but it doesnt work maybe because ive ran they disc before i tried the shift key? ive tried numerous programs any other ideas?

Welcome to the forum but if you honestly want a reply then you must give more information.
What cd/dvd are you using?
What software are you using? (Just to say "I've tried numerous programs just doesn't cut it).
What do you intend to do with the files? mp3, backup disc, ipod etc?

used ROXIO, CDEX, ISOBUSTER, ITUNES and a few more
I want to back up the cd and ipod use

sorry, i havnt come across your post before. If your finding problems with your cd its probably got some protection on it. The latest anydvd removes cd protection, otherwise you will need a program that copies the entire disk eg alcohol 120% / clonecd

anyhow if you want to copy the new 30 seconds to mars cd just download anydvd with clonecd from slysoft.com and then go through the instructions on clonecd. The cd will copy no problem. I just did it today.
