| Well, just downloaded and tried Clony 2.0.0.6. It looks more clean and works great! Though I am somewhat disappointed it was not -fully- translated. Makes me feel like I'm still in the shallow, missing something. Perhaps in future releases! We're lucky to have it translated at all I suppose. Cheers.

| Just completed the graphics conversion with version 2006 so this should be going the rounds shortly after bugfinding - also it may appear as if the default is set to English but it aint - I was just killing time Ha Ha..... Steve M (JazCom)  |

| Not that it really matters, but how is it that i was the 3rd guy to report the release of the new Clony while the text used for the news posting were the exact same words that i used while submitting the news?? and i quote: "The setup of Clony is in english. There are some changes on the interface but in general it is pretty much the same to 2005. The tips and help tab is still in German (there is a quote at the bottom saying: "this window if for german speaking people only". So is the protection info tab. There is a logBook tab which I dont think there was in 2005." This is exactly what i wrote while submitting the news at 0:08 last night  Please don't take it the wrong way, it's not that important... i'd just would like to understand the way things work here, at least as far as news posting is concerned. If there was an earlier posting, which evidently were, you could at least have used the text used by the guy that made the post, and not mine

| clony 2.0.0.6 Hi All Ok all that is over I would like to know under the options what should be checked? Deactivate ASPI or Allow other ASPI Also under system it has ASPI as 4.6.0.1021 but CD ROM No ASPI Layer Loaded Is something not right? Thanks

| no aspi layer loaded This is in my system tab under system info. Is there away to find out if my ASPI is working ok? All my cd burning programs work find.

This happens to me sometimes too, and it is because clony deactivates for some reason the aspi layer before getting loaded. But it gets "fixed" if i re-execute clony or in the worst case restart my computer. It could be that your aspi layer is not properly installed, which in this case would give other problems also (like buffer-underruns or baddly ripped mp3s). There is a program called aspicheck (aspichk) released by adaptec that can check if aspis are properly installed. You can find it at http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/com...chresults.html
