Hi

I have two questions

1-is there any program that can show the version of CD-COPS PROTECTION?

2-is it posible to copy CD-COPS protected cds?

I have some CDs(all of them ebook collection ,not games) that i need to have
an image of them in my hard , I tried ALCOHOL 120% and used the cd-cops option in data type and used the emulator with RMPS option on, but
I got the usual error that this is not the original cd, I also tried daemon tools
but no help ant the same error

I APPRECIATE ANY HELP

Re: Cd-cop

Use Array Scanner it will tell you any thing you need to know about the disc.
And typing in a large font and in red doesn't make anyone want to answer your question.

Edit: Second sentence bold and red removed.

It only tells that the protection is cd-cops like the other
protection detectors that I have used(cloney xxx, ...)

Re: Cd-cop

Cd-cops protected cds are very difficult to copy successfully. Best bet is generally alcohol with the specific Cd-cops datatype but you will need RMPS emulation to play the back-up and it's somewhat hit or miss anyway (i.e. no guarantee of success).

Re: Cd-cop

thanks for the response

I have done as you said with alcohol120% but

cd was recognized as not original and didn`t work

do you have any experience if there is any difference if you use image

or copy to cd and does the brand of cd will make any differnce in successful

response.

I also found a page about decrypting cd-cops with some software

in the page and I used them all but the result was negative

do you know if these tools are really helpful or not

thanks

Re: Cd-cop

Try to burn the image and use RMPS emulation turned on or try blindwrite 6 or virtual cd 8.
