Re: Call Of Duty 2

Sorry to say, I've tried every single program I have to burn COD2 with no success...
I managed to make a working Image, (I can mount it with Alcohol and install it) but I can't seem to burn it to DVD...
My last ditch effort is putting it into a WinRAR archive and burning it in UDF mode to a DVD for storage and backup...
If anyone can figure out how to burn the image to a DVD let me know...I've tried, Alcohol 120%, Blindwrite and Nero, but all of these have resulted with a file or two that will have errors to were the game can't be installed from the DVD...

You can't burn SafeDisc-protected application that come on DVD as DVD format doesn't support RAW writing mode which is required in order to get success with this particular task.

Re: Call Of Duty 2

OK...thanks. I thought maybe it was my DVD burner that wasn't up to the task...Yea, what I ended up doing was spitting the ISO image into CD size parts (6 X 650mbs) using WinRAR and then burning that to the CD's and that worked! Now I have a backup copy safely stored away for later!!!

It's protected by SafeDisc, version probably 4.60

Search how, there are lots of posts about it!.
I can add that making copy method is the same with SD v2.x/3.x/4.x with small difference. Number of writers, which support this protection is still decreasing. Options in copy software (Alcohol, CloneCD) are the same but burners are the key to success.

And dont forget to hide ATIP when playing backup.
