I confirm that the CD and DVD version install the same files (and thus the same protected executable), which explains some blacklists (ie CloneCD blacklisted by DVD version).

Purchased English (UK) / French DVD version 1.00 in the USA. Aray Scanner 2.0.0.1 shows

SafeDisc 3.15.010 detected -> F:\FarCry.exe

on Liteon 811S.

Yeah the US version also have Safedisc 3.20.022

German Retail - repackaged, budget-priced (sold at Saturn and Media Markt for 10 Euro at the moment).

Package says ©2006, but the install DVD hasn't actually changed, I guess. The newest file dates are of 2004-04-08.
