Speed Or Should I Say Lack Of

I have a computer with Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Athlon XP 2600+, 512 meg of PC2700 memory, and I have 1 80 gig Hard Drive. I am using DVD Decrypter 3.1.5.0 and DVD2One V 1.0.0 and it can take me about 1 hour to run these two process maybe a little more. My hard drive uses Ultra DMA. Is this normal or is there something I can do to pick up the speed. Thanks for your time and I look forward to your respones.

Try RegionFree/AnyDvd to eliminate most of the time for a rip (or at least find DVDD-3.1.4.0 or SmartRipper).
D2O 1.2.3 (movie-only/Constant) takes only about 7-13 minutes...

Have you installed ForceASPI--4.60?

one hard drive could be causing problems also...
When I installed a second hard drive , it cut my times considerably....

True--a second drive on a different channel helps--but moot if one doesn't rip to drive (and only processes with D2O from optical [wonder if that makes a difference on same/another ide-channel?], thanks to one of these ripping-app's).
