DVD2One Discuss, rebuild all ifo's with ifoedit at Copy Movie forum; consistently, the ifos don't work corretly after dvd2one . deleting them, and having ifoedit remake them always fixes what ever flaws dvd2one 's ifo creation generated. for those of you having strange problems with chapters not working or linking, use ifoedit after everything dvd2one generates.

The main problem is that DVD2one carries forward the layer break information from the original IFO files. This can sometimes cause a stand-alone player to perform an unnecessary seek operation, which might result in a fleeting pause in the playback.
Rebuilding the IFO files in IFOEdit removes this 'break' info and the problem goes away.
I'm sure Erwin is aware of this 'feature' and will have removed it in the next release

How do you use ifoedit ?

Any instructions on how to use ifoedit to rebuild the ifo's created with dvd2one ?

I'm having similar problems....

If i decrypt using my Pioneer 105 it's fine but only reads at 2x, but if i use my lg8120 dvd reader it decrypts at 6x - 8x and the chapters go funny ??

The instructions can be found on the thread 'Layer Change'

Make sure that you click the 'Get VTS sectors' button as a final task. Otherwise, the files may not load into your particular burning software (Nero, unlike most of these programs, will actually perform this reallocation for you, which is what Get VTS sectors does. Even so, it's best not to rely on this. So make sure the files are right before any attempt to burn a DVD is made).
