question...time for one 1 dvd with dvd1

Hi all:

Newbie to dvd backup...

but the dvd2one copy, this there a time frame for the longest movie to fix on one dvd...I have a dvd that is 3 hours, and its from europe and i want to back it up and put it away for save keeping.

well this software let me make a back up of this movie on one disk instead of 2 or 3....

Ho!

Theoretically there's no specific limit on the length of the film to put on 1 DVD-R. Logically, as films get longer they also increase in file size and have then to be compressed more and more. Normally you'll have good results up to 120-130 minutes, but it all depends on the source material...

I'd say, try the demo version that let's you encode 30 minutes. If the result fits your needs everythings OK and you can get the full version to back up the whole film.
Strip not needed language streams to save bitrate for the video!

Yes, that's excatly what the product does. It process your original DVD stream so that you can record it on a DVD recordable/rewriteable.

It does not support the making of VCD/SVCD etc.

It will work once you extract the exact files you really need and encode with the program to fit on 1 dvdr. it will do what you want.
