How add menus for video selection

This forum is the best on the web by far . I was wondering if there was a way to strip just the video portion of the DVD along with some of the Bonus video and instaed of the movie just playing there is a Menu screen to choose which one you want to watch first. I know this can be done if you choose disk copy but that copies everything and some of the stuff I do not want?

I am using a Macintosh computer if it makes a difference for the answer

thanks in advance
