Do you have the files that dvd2one made in a VIDEO_TS directory and an empty AUDIO_TS directory in the root of the the new dvd structure?

what firmware do you have?

what firmware do you have?

I have the Pioneer a05/105 and the trial works great.

Just waiting for an upgrade to buy, cause i read somewhere about some quant matrix being inverted causing pixel creep. Props to the programmer 90 some kilobytes is not a whole heck of alot of program, and to do so much.

I used to write programs that big for my graphing calculator back in school and none were anything as useful as this program is. But for now IFOEdit and ReMPEG work for me (seeing as how i don't have $2000 to shell out for CCE).

I also have a Pioneer A05 with firmware 1.21 and burning with RNM 4.5 or Nero 5.5.9.0 gives me no problems what so ever with DVD2ONE generated files.

Have you copied the files to the VIDEO_TS folder with NO other files in there. Other files in there can cause problems.

IfoEdit

You might try using IfoEdit to get vts sectors then importing them to Prassi.

I use Gear DVD Pro 6 for my burning and in the begining before I tried DVD2ONE I couldn't import my files over into Gear without getting a similar error message. Until I learned about getting vts sectors.

Too my amazement I did not have to get vts sectors to import into Gear after re-encoding with DVD2ONE.

Keep up the good work guy's ;-)

Can't wait for your next release...

I never added the empty audio folder. Burned with RNM 4.5 and never had problems.
Is it really better to add the AUDIO_TS folder ?

Solution = -> read

I have the same problem with dvd2one and prassi primo dvd (Pioneer 105)

The problem is that prassi finds somethin not right in the dvd structure

Solution:

Run ifoedit and load the movie .ifo file then press the button GET VTS SECTORS, this corrects some invalid vob id points, and in this case with dvd2one mostly it does correct some things

quit ifoedit and run prassi primo dvd again and normally you don't have a problem anymore that prassi is spitting ur dvd-r out

I have an A05 and was able to burn a disc successfully without any problems. I was able to play it back on my PC but not on my home player.

I just got the burner so I'm a newbie. I used Roxio (Since it came with the burner) and burned the DVD as a "data DVD" making sure everything was in a VIDEO_TS directory. I didn't create an AUDIO_TS directory.

Should this have worked? I tried burning to 3 different types of media to se if my player was just picky.

You didn't mention the model of your player. But some of them out there require that you have an empty AUDIO_TS folder (stupid huh) just because it's part of the dvd structure. Try burning with the folder in there, might help.

use IFOedit to create a "disc image".

that will create a .IMG file with the video_ts and audio_ts directories in them and sequence the files as burning software likes them.

One more thing...

...after you get vts sectors you hit the save button and overwrite your old ifo. Or you can do as Chumboy61 suggested use IFOedit to create a "disc image".

That will create a .IMG file with the video_ts and audio_ts directories in them and sequence the files as burning software likes them.

I work as a pc tech, and whenever I see a pc with me on it, I quickly tell the owner to take that piece of crab os off of there. It was an interim money maker for M$. Beg, borrow or steal a copy of XP Pro and get rid of me.

Pioneer 105

I took my burned discs to the local electronics store and was able to play them on a cheap Sony DVD so I just bought that. The problem appears to be in my Go-Video deck.

I tried adding the AUDIO_TS directory and using NERO to burn and it still wouldn't play on my GO-Video. So... for $99 for the Sony, I'm not screwing around anymore with my go-video.

Not all stand-alone DVD players will play DVD-R's.

Not all stand-alone DVD players will play DVD-R's burned at a speed greater than 1X.

Even if the forum states that your DVD player will play DVD-R's doesn't make it so. My APEX shows up on all the web sites as being compatible with DVD-R's but it is not because APEX made several players like my model but used different conponents.

Once I discovered that "MY" APEX won't play the DVD-R's ... I took a DVD-R to the electronic store and tested a few models to see if they would play a DVD-R so now I can play DVD-R's on my new Sony.

Althought I can burn at 2X ... to be safe I only burn at 1X.

Oh .. I have a Pinoneer 104 and Ritek blank DVD's.

I made so many 2 DVD movies that I'm gonna try and make 1 DVD movies from. I think DVD2One can do it altough no one has mentioned it.

My thinking is that if I copy all the VOB's to the HD from both DVD's (renaming the VOB's on 2nd DVD) ... then DVD2One should put it back together on 1 DVD. The reason for renaming the VOB's on the 2nd DVD is they have the same names as on DVD #1.
