DVD2One Jitter

I'm using the DVD2One trial version to test a backup of Signs and I'm also using Doom9's Complete DVD9 to DVD5 guide to see if there is a difference between DVD2One and Doom9's guide.

I was very impressed with DVD2One's speed compared to the manual way.

Computer System:
P4 2.5
500 MB Ram
73.4 GB U160 SCSI
Adaptec 19120
MOBO: Asus P4GE

TV:
Sony Vega 36"

When I compared the two backups, I noticed that DVD2One, although didn't lack in movie quality, the top edge line of the 16x9 letter box seemed to jitter. Jitter, meaning it seemed like the camera person was slightly moving the camera up and down and not being still. The problem only reflected on the very top inch of the movie box. I then creating the backup with Doom9's guide using CinemaCraft which showed no jitter whatsoever.

I was wondering if else anyone has seen this problem? Please look closely at your DVD2One backup movie and wait for a moment in which the camera is still (without hitting the pause button) and look at the top of your letterbox to see if the movie seems to jitter.

I see it too,i would say it flickers or strobes. but it only seems noticeable on wide screen movies in light scenes. i suspect the video flickers on all movies, but can only be seen against the solid steady black bars of the wide screen movies.

i should add that we get what we pay for,in time spent,dvd2one is by far the fastest, easiest and safest way to do dvd to dvdr. the other method you tried no doubt took much longer,6hrs? I say safest because even an apparent good rip of a 4.38gb dvd doesnt always work after burning to dvdr, reprocessing with dvd2one makes a good burn a sure thing. i havent lost a single disk so far. i have done about 30 dvdrs now including some very long movies,no problems,no errors,no stress. for a first release, this is a miracle.

Update...

So far I've backuped about 9 movies in 16:9 format. Only Signs shows this problem. Although I've only watched one of the movies completely and about 15 mintues for the rest of them, I don't see the jitter issues anymore.
