DVD2One Discuss, DVD2ONE every one should use ANYDVD great program at Copy Movie forum; Sounds like a nice setup--sorry if I sounded contradictory earlier. Guess that when one runs any set of proggies on several setups--and has no issues, then reads extensively from others who do the same, one assumes when the occasional problem comes to fore on a group there is

Still seems odd to me. For instance, with my 2x Pioneer 105 burner, or my 2X-ripping Toshiba dvd-rom, in a modest 1.8 Celly system, I used to rip Full from a dvd like GreenMile/CastAway/LotR in about 14 minutes; m-o in less (7-11)--these with DVDD 3.1.4.0. Now I've installed hacked-FW in the 105, it's faster ripping. With AD 1.4.3.1 and LotR/m-o, the complete process (rip + D2O-1.2.3) takes about 12 minutes (less for most movie-only's). However, with the version before 1.4.3.1, it did take 47 minutes (earlier disagreed with 1.2.1+).
The important thing is outcome--and if you're happy with your copies then 'good on ya'. Guess I'd be left with at least an academic curiousity about some anomolous low-speeds and poor AD-performance/D2O-sizing were I you, but anything South of 8 hours (pre-D2O days) is easy to live with...

You said it. I'm totally satisfied with all my copies, and can't complain about how long it takes to make one, especially considering how long it used to take!

Hi,

For all users who are using Win98/Me, please try DVD Region-Free 3.0 RC1 at http://www.dvdidle.com/DVDRegionFree30RC1.exe to see the result.

This program has all the functions in AnyDVD, and it's easy to use, just run it and forget it. It supports DVD2One without any problem, it also supports InstantCopy, DVD Shrink, DVDFab, Nero Recode, etc.

From some beta tester's report, it runs faster than AnyDVD, and you can try it to see the result.

Best Regards,
Fengtao

I did several side-by-side tests of AnyDVD and DVD Region-free with DVD2one and DVDR-F did come out faster than AnyDVD every time. Not by much. A minute and a half at most. But still that's something. It is only seconds longer than what it takes DVD2One to process already ripped files. Great program!
