Are DVD2one able to do DTS and DD 5.1?

As I recently invested heavily into homecinema sound I´m curious about this.

Allmighty i'am afraid i don't exactly got your point?

What more do you want me to say after i confirmed that DVD2one doesn't touch the audiostreams and copy them 1:1 to the new stream?

just give the right answer, you have to select both ac3 and dts to have it.

and make a better explanation then it will don´t touch it.

Say why?

I have a question regarding this...

On a 2 hours movie, do you have any idea ot the size of a 5.1 channel and a DTS channel ? I think DTS is far bigger and I wonder if it's not better sometimes to keep only 5.1 in order to keep the video as close from the original video

thx

I chose DTS by itself and it worked fine...although I have seen a few posts that say you need to chose both to get DTS...

If you only have DTS you might not have sound on a mono or stereo tv. at least i have experienced this. Don't ask me why this is so. In that case better go with Dolby.

I haven't noticed that much of a difference between the two systems, except that DTS is recorded "louder" on the DVD so comparing the two, DTS might seem to sound better.
