Compression Mode Help - DVD2One2

I searched and found no answers for this question.

I have DVD2One v2.1.1. Under the settings tab there is compression mode which has 2 drop down lists. the first has "fast(optimized for speed)" and "Best quality" options. Now my question arises with the drop down box to the right of that box which has the options "Automatic" "Low" "Medium" and "High"

Does anybody know what this a setting for? Is it setting how high or low the compression is or how high or low the quality is.

If it is for quality then i guess it would mean it would take longer to complete. High Quality = Slow Backup
Whereas if it were compression then it would mean lower quality. High Compression = Low Quality.

I am not concerned about speed and am looking for the best quality. Thanks in advance for any helpful replies. I also apologize if this is a dumb question.

Re: Compression Mode Help - DVD2One2

In DVD2One, Low compression = better quality. High = more compression therefore lower quality. When I use it, I leave it on auto and let it do its thing. Usually its on "low" but occasion it's on "Med". Speed is usually between 15 & 30 minutes depending on movie only or extras+.
